The story
At the Westhafen in Frankfurt, the Frankfurter Botschaft brings together a relaxed, stylish atmosphere with serious cooking. The kitchen focuses on modern, international cuisine built from seasonal, regional ingredients. It is a place where the plate is precise, but the mood stays easy – a balance that has earned it a Michelin Recommended distinction.
The restaurant sits at ground level with a covered terrace, a small beach area called Botschaft Beach, and direct views of the River Main. Inside, the space is designed for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings, with room for up to 500 guests across indoor and outdoor areas.
The menu changes with the seasons, drawing on what is fresh and local. The style is casual fine dining: thoughtful presentation, clear flavors, and no unnecessary fuss. The kitchen works with an international palette, blending techniques and influences without losing sight of the ingredients.
For a completely different perspective, the restaurant operates an event space called 23 NORD on the 23rd floor of the Westhafen Tower. With floor-to-ceiling windows and a panoramic skyline view, it accommodates up to 150 guests. Every event is planned individually, with the same attention to detail that defines the ground-floor restaurant.
Whether you come for dinner on the terrace or a private celebration with a view, the Frankfurter Botschaft delivers a polished, welcoming experience rooted in quality and seasonality.
