Henriks is the namesake of its owner and chef, Claas-Henrik Anklam, who has created a restaurant that feels both vibrant and deeply personal. Located on Tesdorpfstraße in the heart of Hamburg, the restaurant offers a rare combination: a central city address that still feels tucked away in the greenery. It is an intimate, elegant space where every visit is meant to be memorable.

From Hanover to the World

Chef Claas-Henrik Anklam’s path to Henriks began early. Born in 1975, he discovered his passion for cooking in his parents’ restaurant in Hanover. He completed his training in 1992 at the Michelin-starred Georgenhof in Hanover before moving to Hamburg in 1996. For ten years, he worked at the renowned Landhaus Scherrer, spending many of those years as head chef. In 2006, he opened the restaurant Tarantella with two partners, and in 2013, he launched his own restaurant, Henriks.
