The story
Salt & Silver is the culinary expression of a life built around three passions: travel, surf, and cooking. Founders Cozy and Jo left their jobs in 2014 to explore the world, and their journey has since shaped a unique restaurant concept that now has three homes in Hamburg and Sankt Peter-Ording.
The Hamburg location, on Hafenstraße, brings this vision to life with a kitchen that focuses on creative dishes made from regional ingredients. The menu reflects the founders’ ongoing search for inspiring stories and exceptional flavours, translating global experiences into a distinctly local dining experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious, in line with their motto: "Life is short – make it nice!"
The restaurant has earned a Michelin Recommended award for 2026, a recognition that aligns with its commitment to quality and thoughtful cooking. This accolade underscores the kitchen’s ability to deliver consistently refined food without unnecessary formality.
