The story
At Anglerstuben, the kitchen team works with a clear conviction: regional is their taste and understanding. They process ingredients without long transport routes, reflecting the Lake Constance region on the plate. The people behind it are genuine, and that care extends to every guest. The goal is simple – to see guests satisfied and relaxed. That relaxed atmosphere starts with the team themselves, and they encourage reservations to ensure a smooth experience.
The menu changes with the seasons and is inspired by what the region offers, though the team does not treat regionality as a dogma. Where quality and flavor match their ideas, they prefer to work closely with local producers. The result is a selection of dishes that highlight the product itself.
For lunch, Tuesday through Friday, a weekly changing business lunch is served. In the evening, guests can choose between the "Anglerstuben" menu and the "Bodensee" menu, selecting the number of courses that suits them. A vegetarian menu is also available, based on the same seasonal inspiration. Vegan options can be arranged if communicated in advance.
The wine list features exclusively German winemakers from all growing regions of the country, now numbering over 300 labels and growing. It is a deliberate choice to showcase the diversity of German viticulture alongside the kitchen's regional focus.
Anglerstuben’s commitment to honest, regional cooking has earned it a Michelin Recommendation for 2026 – a mark of quality that aligns with the restaurant’s own standards: real ingredients, real people, and a genuine welcome in Konstanz.
