The story
Since March 2016, chef and owner Alexander Hohlwein, together with his partner Rebekka Weickert, has been running Restaurant 360° in Limburg an der Lahn. Hohlwein describes his style as “weltoffene Aromenküche” – a worldly, aromatic cuisine that draws on international influences while staying grounded in precise, modern technique. The kitchen serves up to 35 guests from Wednesday to Saturday, both at lunch and in the evening.
At midday, the restaurant offers a quick business lunch, giving guests a compact glimpse into Hohlwein’s cooking. In the evening, the focus shifts to the “Weltreise” (World Journey) menu, available in four to eight courses. The kitchen accommodates allergies and dietary preferences such as lactose-free, gluten-free, or vegetarian options (though vegan requests cannot be fulfilled). Each dish is paired with a wine from a carefully curated list of around 150 labels, selected by sommelier Rebekka Weickert.
The restaurant’s Michelin star, awarded for high-quality cooking, is complemented by accolades including 3 toques from Gault Millau, 9 pans from Gusto, and top ratings from Der Feinschmecker, Aral Schlemmer Atlas, and Varta Führer. The dining room is air-conditioned, with outdoor seating available, and a private room can be booked for events. The restaurant also hosts regular wine tasting evenings under the “5 Gläser” series, where guests explore five exceptional wines paired with small dishes from the star kitchen.
In March 2026, 360° celebrated its tenth anniversary – a milestone marked by a decade of welcoming guests to Limburg an der Lahn. Whether for a quick business lunch or an evening “Weltreise,” the restaurant remains a destination for those seeking modern, internationally inspired cuisine in a relaxed, professional setting.
