The story
After a period of closure, the doors of Krone Schlier will open again on June 5, 2026. Andreia and Benedikt Geßler, who run the restaurant with their family and team, have used this time for intensive restoration and careful development. The work focused on the kitchen and sanitary areas, laying the groundwork for a sustainable future. The restaurant is now putting the final touches to what the Geßlers describe as "more quality, comfort and culinary enjoyment."
The restaurant in Schlier, near Ravensburg, has earned a Michelin recommendation for 2026, a recognition that speaks to its commitment to contemporary, seasonal cuisine. The menu changes with the seasons, and the kitchen emphasizes regional ingredients.
From July, the restaurant will also offer selected cooking classes, continuing its role as a place not just for dining but for learning. For private events of 15 to 50 guests, the restaurant can open for lunch or on Sundays and holidays.
The Geßlers express deep gratitude to their guests and to the local craftsmen who contributed to the renewal. Their message is one of warmth and anticipation: "We look forward to welcoming you again soon and experiencing new moments of enjoyment together."
