The story

Laesâ in Stuttgart – Modern Cuisine with Soul-Dining at Michelin Recommended

Soul-Dining at Laesâ in Stuttgart

At Laesâ on Wilhelmsplatz in Stuttgart, the team describes their approach as "Soul-Dining" – a phrase that captures the essence of this modern cuisine restaurant. The guiding principle is to create a holistic experience where enjoyment, community, and emotional connection take center stage. "Warm, honest, and with a feel-good character like being at home or with friends," they say.

The kitchen focuses on exceptional quality, harmoniously combined and reduced to the essentials. Guests have described the dishes as "surprising and extraordinarily delicious," noting that such a relaxed atmosphere is rare. The team, a mix of perfectionists, craftsmen, and attentive hosts, is driven by a passion for quality, regional products, and tradition.

A Michelin Recommended award for 2026 confirms the restaurant's consistent standards. The wine list, marked as "Interesting Wine List" on Wattafork, complements the modern cuisine with thoughtful selections.

The restaurant itself is open Tuesday through Saturday from 6:30 pm, while a Bistro service runs Friday and Saturday from noon to 4:00 pm, offering a lighter midday option.

Concept Urban soul dining in the old town at a high level. Cuisine Style "Laesâ" has quickly established itself as a new gourmet highlight in Stuttgart's old town. The menu playfully combines local elements such as Gaishirtle pears and Alb lentils with fine foie gras to start. Classic Grande cuisine follows with scallops served in the shell, accompanied by Hedgehog mushroom and Mornay sauce. House-baked wheat sourdough bread arrives oven-warm on the table with salted butter as a standalone intermezzo course. The Mieral pigeon is served as the main course with black cabbage and Fregola pasta. A perfectly cooked free-range egg with nutty M25 caviar can be added to the menu as a signature dish (€35). Wine A knowledgeably curated wine list by Sommelier Nikolas Reidt, featuring selections from the region, Germany, Burgundy, and Bordeaux. Atmosphere A lounge-like urban ambiance featuring a long communal table in the former traditional inn, Murrhardter Hof. Concept Urban soul dining in the old town at a high level.
