The story
Lottie’s arrived in Dublin’s Rathmines in 2023 and quickly became the kind of place locals wish they had on their own street. This stylish brasserie-style restaurant is run by serial operators Domini Kemp (Valence Hospitality) and Brian Montague (The Winding Stair group), and it earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand in both 2024 and 2025 for good quality, good value cooking. The Michelin Guide calls it “the perfect neighbourhood restaurant” and praises its hearty, flavour-packed dishes built on excellent Irish produce.
The kitchen team works closely with trusted suppliers like Pat McLoughlin for beef, Wrights of Marino for fish and seafood, Silverhill for duck, and Garden County Organics for vegetables. The menus are constantly evolving, designed around the seasons and what’s best from these local producers. You’ll find an à la carte menu, a great-value early evening menu offered from 5pm to 6:30pm, a popular Sunday roast, and a Saturday lunch. There’s even a dedicated menu for younger diners.
For those who like to see the action, the chef’s counter offers a front-row seat to the open kitchen. As the team describes it, you can “watch the magic unfold” as dishes come together just inches away. Upstairs, a warm and intimate dining space with its own private bar and terrace is available for private events, from milestone celebrations to corporate dinners.
Whether you drop in for cocktails and small plates or settle in for a full dinner with wine, Lottie’s delivers unfussy modern cuisine in a lively, welcoming setting. It’s the kind of place where the buzz is real, the produce shines, and regulars keep coming back.
