Set within the restored courtyard buildings of Marlfield House—a historic coach house, potting shed, and gardener’s tool shed—The Duck Restaurant offers a dining experience that is both relaxed and refined. Located just outside Gorey, the restaurant occupies a long stone building with French doors that open onto a sandstone terrace, overlooking a kitchen garden brimming with vegetables, soft fruits, herbs, and blooming roses. This unique setting, recognised by Michelin, creates a welcoming atmosphere for any occasion.

The restaurant’s interior features a blazing fire, a café bar, and a glasshouse with views of the manor house and gardens. The sandstone terrace provides space for alfresco coffees, pastries, cocktails, lunch, or dinner throughout the year. The space is designed for friends and family to gather, day and night, in a casual yet elegant country house setting.

The kitchen team, led by talented chefs, focuses on fresh, exciting ingredients sourced from the on-site garden and the local area.
