The story

The trattoria sits on the road between Cerretto Langhe and Albaretto Torre, just a few kilometres from Alba. It occupies an old Langa farmhouse that was carefully renovated and reopened in 1997. Stone and wood remain visible, giving the space a rustic elegance that matches the surrounding vineyards. There are also rooms upstairs, warm and modern, for those who want to linger. Outdoor seating is available in good weather, and the wine list is notably interesting, reflecting the region’s great bottles.
The Michelin guide has recommended Trattoria del Bivio for 2026, a quiet nod to the quality of what Selia and Massimo put on the table. The restaurant has also earned a Gambero Rosso fork (78/100) and the Golosario Corona Radiosa for 2026. These awards matter, but they never overshadow the fundamental pleasure of a meal here: honest, seasonal Piedmontese cooking, shared among friends, with a view of the hills.
