The story
In the quiet hills of Tigliole d'Asti, Ca' Vittoria is a restaurant where memory and modernity meet at the table. Chef Massimiliano Musso carries forward the legacy of his grandmother, Gemma, who earned a Michelin star in this very corner of Piemonte in 1997 — a rare achievement for a woman at the time. Today, that star continues to shine, a testament to a kitchen rooted in family history and open to the world.
Massimiliano’s cooking is grounded in the flavours of the region — butter, flour, and the scents of the Alfieri hills — yet his experience stretches far beyond Piemonte. He has cooked in New York, Hong Kong, Moscow, Taiwan, and Dubai, bringing a global perspective back to this intimate, family-run space. The result is a contemporary cuisine that respects tradition while embracing evolution, earning Ca' Vittoria its ongoing Michelin star for high-quality cooking.
The restaurant itself feels like an island of calm, surrounded by nature. The service, led by Massimiliano’s wife Valentina, is warm and attentive. For a more relaxed experience, the on-site Bistrot offers seasonal dishes, local ingredients, and a considered wine list, with gourmet pizza on Sundays.
Ca' Vittoria is not just a meal — it is the continuation of a story, told through plates of modern Piemontese cuisine in the heart of Asti.
