The story
In the heart of Biella, Piedmont, Regallo is a restaurant that defies expectations. It brings the sea to an inland city, serving creative seafood and modern cuisine in a setting that is as distinctive as its food. The restaurant is housed in a converted industrial building, a former wool mill that has been reimagined in a New York loft style. The open space, with large windows overlooking a stream, retains the original architectural character of the old factory, creating a raw yet refined atmosphere.
The project is driven by the passion and energy of a young couple: Chef Claudio Ravinetto and Chiara Prior. Their goal is to create a place where the kitchen is the true protagonist, evolving with the times while respecting tradition. The result is a dining experience that feels both grounded and inventive.
The menu focuses on fresh fish and high-quality ingredients, sourced through careful selection. Bread, grissini, focaccia, pasta, and pastries are all made in-house using the best ingredients. The open kitchen allows guests to watch the chefs at work, turning out creative plates that are the heart of the restaurant. A refined wine bar area also offers a curated selection of wines for tasting.
Regallo’s commitment to quality and creativity has earned it a place in the Michelin guide, where it is listed as Recommended. It is a testament to the team’s ability to create a genuine, memorable dining experience in Biella.
