The story
Since 2006, Brindo has been the "piccolo di Orlando" in Cusago, a short distance from Milan. This restaurant, recognised in the Michelin Guide Italia 2026, offers a refined take on Lombardian and Modern Italian cuisine.
The menu, presented as "La proposta del momento," changes regularly to reflect the seasons. Antipasti might include a classic Vitello Tonnato, cooked at a low temperature and served with an old-style sauce, or Fiori di Zucca stuffed with ricotta, seasonal vegetables, and finferli mushrooms, finished with a piquillo pepper sauce. A selection of salumi with the restaurant's own giardiniera is also available.
Among the primi, the Troccoli with basil pesto, cherry tomatoes, almonds, and swordfish is a standout, as are the Ravioli filled with barbecue-cooked pork and stewed onion, dressed with smoked butter and thyme. For secondi, the Baccalà on a bell pepper velouté with escarole, raisins, and an olive crumble shows a thoughtful approach to flavour. The Abanico di Maiale Iberico, paired with honey and walnut endive and a mustard sauce, is another highlight.
Desserts are simple and satisfying, from a classic Tiramisù to a Panna Cotta al Caramello Salato with cashew crumble and chocolate sauce.
Brindo's atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious, focused on the quality of the food and the warmth of the service. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, closed Saturday lunch and Sunday. Its inclusion in the Michelin Guide for 2026 confirms the consistent quality that has defined this address for nearly two decades.
