The story
On the western shore of Lake Garda, in the marina of Padenghe sul Garda, Aquariva brings together the vision of brothers Ivan and Paolo Favalli. The restaurant occupies a privileged position within West Garda Marina, offering a romantic summer terrace that overlooks the water. In cooler months, two elegant indoor rooms with warm colours and a crackling fireplace ensure the lake view is never lost.
Paolo Favalli leads the kitchen, presenting dishes rooted in traditional seafood and classic cuisine, revisited with a modern touch. The menu changes with the seasons, drawing on the best of the lake and the sea. A Michelin Recommended award, first received in 2026, recognises the consistency and quality of this approach.
Ivan Favalli oversees a cellar of over 900 labels, with a focus on local and national wines as well as an extensive selection of Champagne—one of the most comprehensive in Italy. The wine list is a destination in itself, and guests can also purchase bottles to take away from the on-site Wineb corner.
The atmosphere is chic and relaxed: nautical-style furnishings, candlelight, and a jazz-lounge soundtrack set the tone for unhurried evenings.
