The story
On via Cavour in the heart of Mantua, Sücar Brüsc brings a fresh, contemporary perspective to Lombardian cuisine. The restaurant’s philosophy is rooted in a daily, attentive study of local ingredients, balancing classic traditions with new experiences. This dedication has earned it a place in the MICHELIN Guide Italia 2026, a recognition the team embraces with pride.
The menu, which changes seasonally, moves from à la carte choices to tasting journeys, always highlighting the best of the surrounding territory. A particular point of pride is the opportunity to taste Cru Caviar, a world-class caviar produced just a few kilometres away at the Azienda Agricola Naviglio in Goito. This local treasure, often called the “black gold” of gastronomy, is offered with its own dedicated menu.
The wine list is equally considered, with around 300 labels – mostly Italian, with a focus on regional gems – selected for their variety, vintages, and ongoing evolution. The atmosphere is welcoming and professional, with a team dedicated to conveying what they call their “mantovanità” – the authentic spirit of Mantua. Whether for lunch or dinner, Sücar Brüsc offers a refined yet relaxed taste of contemporary Lombardian cooking.
