The story
At Il Cairoli, the kitchen celebrates the authentic flavours of Milanese cuisine, grounded in fresh, seasonal ingredients. Located in the heart of Milan with a striking view of Castello Sforzesco, the restaurant is open to both hotel guests and external diners. The menu highlights the city’s iconic dishes: risotto with a medallion of ossobuco, costoletta alla milanese, and mondeghili. There are also fish options and recipes suited to a vegetarian lifestyle.
The quality of the cooking and the service earned Il Cairoli a mention in the MICHELIN Guide Italia 2026. It has also been recognised by Guida Milano e Lombardia a Tavola and Il Golosario. The adjacent Il Cairoli Bar is open daily from 7:00 to 23:30, offering a coffee break, an aperitivo, a Gin Experience, and the “Pinsiamoci su” menu built around creative pinsa to share with a drink.
The restaurant serves lunch daily from 12:30 to 14:30 and dinner from 19:30 to 22:30. It is wheelchair accessible, accepts credit cards, and offers free Wi-Fi.
