The story
Ristorante Parizzi has been in the heart of Parma since 1948, a family-run restaurant that searches for the essence and genuineness of Parmigiana cuisine. The kitchen combines family tradition with innovation, respecting the raw ingredients with care and a contemporary sensibility.
Chef Marco Parizzi leads the kitchen with a philosophy that a dish is born from the heart, cooked with technique, and eaten with simplicity. His cooking stays rooted in the region’s flavours, presenting them with balance and rigour.
In the dining room, Cristina Parizzi curates a wine list that is both researched and international, designed to pair perfectly with the flavours of the menu. Her passion for wine and hospitality turns each meal into a deeper experience.
The menu is a reflection of the Emilia-Romagna tradition, with dishes like Tortelli d’erbetta alla parmigiana, Anolini in cream of Parmigiano Reggiano, and Punta di vitello cooked low-temperature with roasted potatoes. Seasonal and creative plates appear alongside, such as the Degustazione del Territorio, a tasting of the area’s finest products. Each dish is built on the seasons and the quality of the ingredients, with a clear nod to the past and a light step into the present.
The restaurant’s consistent quality and dedication to the Parmigiana tradition have earned it a Michelin Recommended award. This recognition underlines the Parizzi family’s ability to keep a local cuisine alive while refining it with skill and elegance.
Whether for a private dinner in one of the reserved salons or a corporate event, Parizzi offers an experience that is both sincere and measured, in the very centre of Parma.
