The story
In the heart of Ravenna, L'Acciuga Osteria offers a refined and respectful take on Italian seafood cuisine. The restaurant was born in 2011 from the shared passion of brothers Matteo and Edoardo Salbaroli, who wanted to turn their culinary dream into reality. What emerged was L'Acciuga, described as the child of many sacrifices and plenty of lively exchanges of ideas.
The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, with an unmistakable attention to detail and a quiet sense of elegance. The team invites guests on a journey through the authentic tastes of the local sea, presenting dishes that are both researched and respectful of the ingredients.
Among the dishes featured on their menu are creations with evocative names like “Il Trasloco,” “Sui Cicheti dei Bacari,” “L’Olandese Volante,” and “Il Cardo si Veste da Sera.” The menu also includes “Lo Spaghettone del Pastificio Dei Campi,” a clear nod to quality pasta. This is a place where the kitchen takes risks with flavor combinations, as seen in dishes like “Non Tutti i Cefali Soshimi.”
Beyond the main kitchen, L'Acciuga also runs “Il Banco Bar,” a space for drinks and lighter offerings. Here, guests can sample a unique selection of cocktails, including a basil and ginger blend, and house-made kombucha.
The restaurant’s commitment to high-quality, seafood-focused Italian cuisine has not gone unnoticed. L'Acciuga earned a place in the prestigious Guida Michelin, receiving a recommendation that underscores its standing in Ravenna's dining scene.
The team also organizes special events, such as “ImmaGINazione,” a sensory journey through ten gins from around the world guided by expert Lorenzo Tavolieri. Whether for a private party or a business occasion, the space can be booked for events, and the team even offers catering services off-site.
