The story
On the western shore of Lake Garda, in Gardone Riviera near Salò, Villa Fiordaliso stands as an elegant residence rich in history. A private home until the mid-1970s, it was later transformed into a small luxury hotel. Five lake-view suites – two still bearing original 1930s furnishings – and a garden fragrant with herbs set the stage for a deeply personal dining experience.
Chef Dino Colantuono leads the restaurant, describing the table as a stage where love and tradition shape each dish. His cooking, recognized with a Michelin Recommendation for 2026, expresses Italian contemporary cuisine that honours local ingredients and lake-side heritage. The kitchen’s approach is grounded in respect for the produce and the moment – a philosophy that turns every meal into a lasting memory.
Dining at Villa Fiordaliso means sitting in the garden or on the terrace, with the lake’s warm waters lapping just steps away. The atmosphere is refined yet unpretentious, allowing the food and the setting to speak for themselves. An interesting wine list complements the menu, which changes with the seasons and is available for both lunch and dinner.
