The story
Il Visibilio is a gourmet restaurant at The Club House, part of the Fontanelle Estate near Siena. Its signature is a blind tasting menu, designed around the seasonality of ingredients and the sensitivity of each guest. The element of surprise is central here: diners trust the kitchen’s creativity, guided by the intuition of Chef Francesco Ferrettini.
Born in 1986, Ferrettini built his career at Marina di Pietrasanta and the Belmond Castello di Casole. He joined the Fontanelle Estate in 2014 as Sous Chef at the earlier La Colonna, became Resident Chef there in 2022, and by late 2025 took the role of Executive Chef across all three restaurant concepts of the brand. He now leads the culinary direction of Il Visibilio, which holds one Michelin star. The kitchen also benefits from the consultancy of Chef Giuseppe Iannotti, whose work at Krèsios has earned two Michelin stars.
The menu changes with the rhythm of the Tuscan land, using produce at its peak. The approach is contemporary, yet grounded in the flavors of the region.
