In the heart of Taormina, steps from the Duomo, Kisté - Easy Gourmet occupies the historic Casa Cipolla, a late 15th-century palazzo built atop two ancient Roman cisterns. The name "Kisté" itself is a nod to these containers, derived from the Greek. This setting is not a formal temple of gastronomy, but a warm, spontaneous space where high-quality modern cuisine meets a welcoming, everyday atmosphere.

The Hand of a Master

Kisté is the creation of Chef Pietro D’Agostino, the Michelin-starred patron of La Capinera. His vision for Kisté, opened in 2017, was to offer a place where the same exacting standards for ingredients and detail apply, but the mood is liberated and friendly. The menu, described as "dishes that are never flat," is an explosion of the senses, a meeting point between innovation and history, sea and land. It is a curated, focused selection designed to tell the story of Sicily through a few, perfectly executed plates.

Behind the bar, "Kistology" is the restaurant's liquid kitchen, a mixology program that transforms the soul of Sicily into artisanal cocktails using fine spirits, natural essences, and botanical infusions.
