The story
LoRo, in Trescore Balneario, is the expression of chef Pierantonio Rocchetti’s belief in “a cuisine of emotions.” The kitchen is built on study and love for Italy’s enogastronomic culture, guided by respect: for raw ingredients, chosen and handled to reach their peak; for flavours that unite yet remain distinct; and for guests, who are not to be stunned but surprised. The result is a constant search for balance, where tradition, research and irony coexist, and key elements of Italian cuisine are modulated and refined with a personality that grows more defined each year. This philosophy earned LoRo a Michelin star, a testament to the precision and soul in every plate.
The restaurant offers two distinct experiences. The Ristorante is the fine-dining stage for Rocchetti’s seasonal à la carte and tasting menus—like the Menù Gourmantico 2026—where each dish speaks of craftsmanship and emotion. For a more convivial atmosphere, the Bistrò serves pizzas and focacce made from naturally fermented doughs, long-risen for lightness and digestibility. Here, toppings range from classic Margherita to refined combinations like Scampi e foie gras, all prepared with the same attention to quality that defines the chef’s signature style. Whether at a white-clothed table or sharing a pizza with friends, LoRo’s Italian cuisine remains grounded in the best raw materials and a genuine desire to please.
LoRo extends its reach beyond the restaurant walls. A delivery service brings the kitchen’s flavours home, while banqueting brings elegance and quality to private events. Cooking classes and gift cards offer ways to deepen the connection. But at its heart, this is a restaurant that, as Rocchetti says, cooks for his children—honest, intentional, and deeply personal.
