The story
At Harry's Piccolo in Trieste, the philosophy is simple: “We’ll be Real, Honest, Authentic. That’s all.” This commitment to authenticity has earned the restaurant two Michelin stars, a recognition of cooking that is both excellent and deeply personal.
The team describes themselves as seekers of excellence and creators of harmony. Their “quality mile” is a constant quest for outstanding ingredients, chosen without borders and guided solely by quality. Sea and mountain, tradition and innovation, local produce and faraway flavors all find their place in the kitchen. The result is Italian Contemporary cuisine that feels both grounded and adventurous.
The restaurant is designed as a genuine, open space without barriers, where the kitchen and service blend into one. Guests can choose from a counter overlooking the chefs, intimate tables close to the action, or a private room. Three distinct dining experiences are offered: the main evening service, a more informal late-night concept called After21 at 9pm, and Around12, a light lunch served Wednesday through Friday.
Each tasting journey is an invitation to travel, where every course tells a story and every encounter becomes a moment of deep connection. The wish for every guest is simple: “Live. Savor.”
