The story
Osteria degli Angeli opened in 1999 from the love for cooking and the attention to detail shared by Anna and Johnny Resemini. They have woven private life and professionalism into a harmonious whole, creating a restaurant that feels both personal and polished. The name and the motto – “Chi non trova il Paradiso quaggiù non lo troverà in Cielo” – hint at the warmth they aim to offer.
Since 2022, the restaurant has been mentioned in the prestigious Michelin Guide, a recognition that rewards their dedication to an excellent dining experience. For 2026, Michelin continues to recommend Osteria degli Angeli, confirming the steady quality that guests have come to expect.
At the base of every creation is a careful selection of ingredients from local, seasonal producers, guaranteeing freshness and authentic flavour. The kitchen focuses on Mediterranean cuisine, but pays special attention to all diners: they have offered gluten-free options for years, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their dishes without compromise.
Beyond the stove, the Reseminis have cultivated a wine cellar that is a true treasure chest, with over 800 labels spanning whites, reds, sparkling wines, dessert wines, and a refined selection of spirits for the end of the meal. The sommelier in the dining room is always on hand to guide guests through a tailor-made wine journey, finding the perfect pairing for each plate.
An intimate atmosphere and limited space mean that reservations are essential – made exclusively by phone – to ensure a memorable experience in this corner of Malnate, under the porticoes facing Piazza delle Tessitrici.
