The story
Pedra Furada opened in 2023 as the first venture of MF Gastronomía, a small restaurant group based in A Coruña. The group’s philosophy is to create singular dining experiences by combining tradition and innovation. Pedra Furada is one of two restaurants in the group, alongside Morrofino, each with its own distinct personality.
The restaurant serves contemporary cuisine, anchored in Galician culinary roots while embracing modern techniques. The approach is described as a passion for fusing tradition and innovation, resulting in a menu that feels both rooted and fresh. The setting is versatile: air-conditioned indoor dining, a private room for gatherings, and outdoor seating for warmer months. Cocktails complement the food, and the restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner.
Pedra Furada has been awarded a Michelin Recommended distinction, reflecting its commitment to quality and its place among A Coruña’s noteworthy dining destinations. This recognition, earned in the 2026 guide, underscores the restaurant’s ability to deliver a memorable experience that honors Galician heritage while looking forward.
