The story
At Deliri, chef David Morera has built a restaurant where flavor takes center stage. Inspired by his family and his hometown of Barcelona, Morera composes a menu that balances exquisite gastronomy with a simple, welcoming atmosphere. The result, as the restaurant describes it, is a “perfect synesthesia” — a harmony of sensations that makes every meal exceptional.
Morera’s culinary philosophy is rooted in the best possible ingredients. Each dish is crafted with care, letting the quality of the product speak. Two standout offerings from the current menu are the beef tartare with miso mustard and the stuffed paccheri known as “Los Macarras” de l’avia — a nod to traditional Catalan home cooking, reimagined with contemporary technique. This approach, grounded in Catalan traditions yet forward-looking, has earned Deliri a Michelin Recommended distinction for 2026.
The restaurant’s interior is intentionally unpretentious. It is a space designed for enjoyment, where the focus remains on the food and the company. Located on Carrer de Còrsega in Barcelona’s Eixample district, Deliri offers a genuinely convivial setting for exploring modern Catalan cuisine.
