The story
Oníric, whose name means “belonging or relating to dreams,” is the realised vision of Laura and Jonatan. The couple met while working in a restaurant, united by a passion for gastronomy and a shared desire to eat well. Oníric is the place where they finally give free rein to the ideas they have nurtured ever since.
The restaurant’s philosophy is rooted in celebrating the beauty of simple things. The kitchen works with humble, high-quality local ingredients, treating them with care and respect to reveal their full potential. The result is a fusion cuisine that is intense, flavourful, and provocative, blending the freshness of local produce with global influences.
The dining experience is built around three distinct tasting menus. The Menú Degustación Herrén offers a compelling entry point at 26€ per person. The Menú Degustación Oníric expands to nine courses (49.50€), inviting guests to enjoy the authenticity of carefully selected ingredients combined with global flavours. For a deeper exploration, the Menú Degustación Somni spans twelve courses (82€), with bread, butter, and oil included. Menus evolve with the seasons and the team's constant drive to improve.
The space on Carrer Rabassa in the Gràcia neighbourhood is deliberately small and carefully optimised, designed to guarantee a tranquil and pleasant experience. This intimate setting reflects the restaurant’s focused ambition. It is a choice that has been recognised: Oníric holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand, an award that highlights good quality, good value cooking. It is a fitting nod to Laura and Jonatan’s dream of making accessible, high-level cooking a reality in Barcelona.
