The story
At Ca Na Toneta, the kitchen follows the rhythm of the island. The menu changes constantly, based entirely on what is in season in Mallorca. Expect a strictly seasonal, six-course progression: two starters, a soup, a “coca” (a traditional island focaccia), a fish course, a meat course, and dessert. Soup, often neglected elsewhere, is given its rightful place, and vegetables reclaim the prominence they once held in the healthy diet of the islanders.
The cooking is grounded in the Mediterranean diet, coherent and balanced, drawing directly from the eating habits of Mallorcan ancestors. Every visit is different – the team does not know in advance exactly what you will eat, which makes each meal an event. The result is a menu that feels both timeless and utterly fresh, a genuine expression of place and season.
Ca Na Toneta has earned a Michelin Recommended distinction, reflecting its commitment to honest, flavour-driven Spanish cooking. The restaurant also boasts an interesting wine list and offers outdoor seating, private dining, and table service. Whether for lunch or dinner, the experience is one of quiet pleasure – a celebration of memory, taste, and the craft of Mallorquin food.
