The story
Restaurant Marc Fosh is Palma’s premier dining destination, serving contemporary Mediterranean food designed to evoke and create memories. Housed in the stylish surroundings of the 17th-century Hotel Convent de la Missió, the restaurant combines Michelin Starred cooking with a modern, relaxed, and contemporary space in the old town of Palma de Mallorca.
The kitchen’s philosophy is simple: food tastes best when made from local, seasonal ingredients. Chef Marc Fosh emphasizes clean flavours and seasonal ingredients, sourcing the best produce from across the Balearic Islands. The menus are guided by nature, reflecting the seasons with ideas and inspirations drawn from across the Mediterranean. The restaurant even operates its own garden, Fosh Farm, set in the beautiful location of Finca Son Mir, which grows produce for the kitchen.
Diners can choose from several tasting menus, including the lunch-focused ADN Mediterranean Menu, the comprehensive Marc Menu, and the more extensive Aromas del Mediterráneo for dinner. Menus feature dishes like Carabinero red prawn with white asparagus-elderflower ice cream, local “bombeta” rice with almond milk and mackerel “a la Robata,” and slow-cooked pigeon over charcoal with sweet potato purée and tamarind. A carefully curated wine list offers selections that complement the modern cuisine, with sommelier suggestions and wine pairings available.
The restaurant’s commitment to quality and consistency has earned it a Michelin star, a recognition that speaks to the precision and creativity of the kitchen. For those seeking a more private experience, an intimate dining room is available for exclusive hire, seating up to ten guests.
