The story
Since 2005, Molino de Urdániz has held a place in the Michelin Guide. For nine consecutive years (2018–2025), the original restaurant in Navarra, Spain, has held two Michelin stars, and in 2024 it also received a Michelin Green Star for sustainability. Its only overseas outpost, at MVSA Hotel in Taipei, earned one star upon opening and has now held two stars since 2023.
The kitchen blends Spain’s diverse culinary traditions with the precision of French technique. Seasonal, locally sourced ingredients drive the menu, each dish crafted to tell a story of place and season. The result is an authentic Spanish contemporary experience—no compromise, no shortcuts.
The Taipei restaurant offers lunch and dinner, with a choice of Classic or Chef’s Menu at lunch and only the Chef’s Menu at dinner. Vegetarian options are available, and the space includes private rooms. The dress code is formal, and the atmosphere is refined yet welcoming—designed to let the food speak.
With 20 consecutive years of Michelin recognition, Molino de Urdániz is a benchmark for Spanish contemporary cooking. Its Taipei branch continues that tradition, offering a taste of Spain’s highest standards without leaving Asia.
