The story
At Vapor Gastronòmic, the name itself nods to Terrassa’s industrial past – the old steam-powered textile mills known as vapors. This restaurant-braseria channels that spirit of transformation into a kitchen built on charcoal, local ingredients, and the rhythm of the seasons. The result is Catalan cooking that feels both rooted and alive: fresh, direct, and never overworked.
The dining room is informal and welcoming, designed for sharing. The team works with produce from the Vallès region and beyond, letting the quality of each ingredient speak. Dishes arrive from the grill or from the daily market catch, prepared simply and at the moment. The Pissarra del David – a changing blackboard of market finds and seasonal specials – is a highlight, offering the most immediate expression of what’s at its peak.
This commitment to honest, well-priced cooking earned Vapor Gastronòmic a Bib Gourmand from the Michelin Guide, an award it has held since 2017. It’s a fitting recognition for a place that values substance over showmanship, and where the flavours of the Catalan countryside come through clearly, whether you’re stopping for lunch or a relaxed dinner with friends.
