The story
At La Brezza, chef Marco Campanella practices the high art of modern gourmet cuisine. The restaurant, set within the Tschuggen Grand Hotel in Arosa, has been awarded two Michelin stars and 19 GaultMillau points. In 2025, GaultMillau Switzerland named Campanella “Koch des Jahres” (Chef of the Year), a testament to his skill and vision.
Campanella’s cooking reinterprets traditional Swiss and Italian dishes, with a strong emphasis on plant-based creations. Every ingredient is chosen for its highest quality, reflecting a deep connection to the Graubünden region and a respect for nature. The result is modern cuisine that feels both rooted in tradition and boldly contemporary.
La Brezza follows the seasons. From December to March, it welcomes guests in Arosa, where the Alpine setting provides a serene backdrop. From April to October, the team moves to the Hotel Eden Roc on Lake Maggiore, bringing the same two-star standard to the shores of southern Switzerland.
The experience extends beyond the plate. An interesting wine list complements the menu, and live music in the lounge adds a subtle rhythm to the evening. Outdoor seating is available in the summer months. The atmosphere is refined yet relaxed, allowing the food to remain the focal point.
Whether in the mountains or by the lake, La Brezza offers a modern interpretation of Swiss and Italian cuisine that has earned its place among Switzerland’s finest.
