good quality, good value cooking
We always enjoy returning to the cozy «Pintli» with its large garden terrace under the trees. We appreciate the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly service, the classic menu offerings, and the seasonal dishes announced on the slate board. To start, a pepperoni and egg vinaigrette unfortunately dominated the delicate, lukewarm artichoke heart quite heavily. In contrast, the Caesar salad was flawless, given a welcome twist with Cantabrian anchovies. Chef Falk Fleischhauer paired the white asparagus from the surrounding Seeland region with your choice of lamb fillet, Norwegian salmon, Seeland pork chop, or pink veal steak. We, however, chose the whole turbot for two. The impressive fish was presented tableside, grilled in a herb crust, neatly filleted, and served with the asparagus and small pan-fried potatoes. As is often the case, we ended the meal with the classic "Falk's stirred iced coffee.
