The story
At la p’tite maison in Savièse, the kitchen works on a simple, elegant rhythm. Each month, chef Margaux composes a single surprise menu of five courses: an amuse-bouche, starter, fish, meat, and dessert. The menu changes with the seasons, focusing on refined, homemade cuisine that lets the ingredients speak. The price is CHF 95, with an optional cheese plate for CHF 14. The kitchen cannot adapt the menu to a vegetarian version, but dietary restrictions and allergies are noted at booking.
Margaux and Jeremy met in 2013 and dreamed of opening their own restaurant. In 2021, they made it real with la p’tite maison. Margaux’s cooking evolves through the seasons – a cuisine that is both refined and generous, built on carefully sourced products and presented with elegance. Jeremy, meanwhile, takes care of the dining room. His love of gastronomy and wine is contagious, and his warm, attentive service makes guests feel truly at home.
The restaurant began its journey in Saint-Pierre-de-Clages and later moved to the village of Chandolin in Savièse. The space is deliberately small, seating a maximum of fifteen guests to preserve a convivial, intimate atmosphere and ensure quality service. This approach, combined with Margaux’s precise Modern Cuisine, earned la p’tite maison a Michelin Recommended distinction for 2026 – a recognition of the care and consistency that defines the experience here.
