The story
Set along the shoreline of Nation Riviera Beach Club, Catch at St. Regis is one of Abu Dhabi’s notable seafood restaurants, recognized by the Michelin Guide in 2026. The restaurant offers polished lunches indoors and romantic dinners under the stars, with sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf and the city skyline.
The menu here is seafood-forward, with Japanese and Mediterranean accents. Guests can start with gourmet caviar (Beluga Imperial, Kristal, Baeri Royal, Oscietre Prestige), fresh oysters (Amelie Special No.3 and locally farmed Dibba Bay), or share plates like Hamachi ceviche and Salmon carpaccio. Sushi and sashimi feature prominently: signature rolls such as the Lobster Dragon Roll and the Blow Torch Dynamite Roll, alongside nigiri and sashimi. Larger plates include 48-hour miso-marinated black cod, charcoal sea bass, and a seafood sampler for two. For land-based options, there are Wagyu ribeye, glazed rack of lamb, and grilled corn-fed baby chicken.
Head Chef Kessav Kutwaroo brings a decade of experience from kitchens in Abu Dhabi and Mauritius. He describes his cooking as a tapestry of global flavors shaped by travel and a respect for local traditions. His omakase-style Chef’s Specialty tasting menu, available throughout June, showcases premium ingredients and refined technique.
The dining room is elegant yet casual — local attire is welcome, shorts and swimwear are not. Outdoor seating overlooks the beach, and live music often accompanies meals. Whether for a milestone celebration or a quiet dinner, the atmosphere is polished and unhurried.
Catch at St. Regis is open daily from noon to midnight, with valet parking available. Dietary needs are accommodated upon request.
