The story
On Saadiyat Island – “island of happiness” in Arabic – Fouquet's Abu Dhabi has opened its doors within the cultural heart of the city: the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Like the museum itself, the brasserie cultivates a purely Parisian spirit, celebrating arts and culture in an unmatched setting. The atmosphere marries glamour with authenticity, tradition with modernity.
The legendary Parisian brasserie, founded in 1899, has partnered with three-Michelin-starred Chef Pierre Gagnaire to create a unique culinary signature. His concept of “brasserienomie” reworks French classics – such as sole meunière – with precision and generosity. The menu is a testament to mastery of the culinary arts, bringing an innovative style to the cosy universe of Fouquet's. The restaurant has been recognised by the Michelin guide, a natural fit for such refined French cuisine.
From the panoramic terrace overlooking the gentle waves of the Persian Gulf, guests can enjoy classic French dishes prepared to perfection. For a different mood, the Marta Lounge Bar offers a speakeasy-style space above the restaurant – a captivating bubble of Parisian elegance and refinement. The restaurant also offers a signature business lunch from Monday to Friday (12:00–16:00), and an Afternoon Tea served from 15:00 to 18:00, featuring a refined box of sweet and savoury treats. Private dining is available for more intimate occasions.
