The story
At Tang Town, the guiding philosophy is simple: let ingredients speak. Chef Zeng Jinbiao, a Cantonese master with decades of experience at top-tier establishments like The Ritz-Carlton Beijing Financial Street, leads an all-Chinese team devoted to preserving the true essence of each element. Only seasonal, origin-certified produce is selected—flown in fresh, prepared with restraint. The result is Chinese cuisine that feels both authentic and refined, served in a setting of contemporary Chinese aesthetics with views of the Burj Khalifa.
The kitchen honors classical techniques: wok cooking for the prized wok hei aroma, bamboo steamers for delicate dim sum, and slow braising for deep, layered flavors. Signature dishes include Peking duck carved tableside with caviar, steamed Alaskan king crab baked in a clay pot, and A5 wagyu stir-fried with basil. The Chef’s Table menu offers a curated journey—marinated raw sea shrimps with caviar, double-boiled chicken soup with ginseng, braised beef with Chaozhou citrus, and handmade dim sum. A Weekend Brunch is also available, featuring dim sum, Peking duck, and dessert.
Tang Town’s commitment to craft has earned it a place in the Michelin Guide Dubai 2025. The recognition reflects not just the food but the atmosphere—a quiet harmony of East and West, where champagne and baijiu sit alongside private dining suites and a terrace. It is a dining experience that honors the spirit of the Tang Dynasty while feeling entirely of the moment.
