The story
Cantinetta Antinori brings the Antinori family's six-century winemaking legacy to London's Harriet Street, just off Sloane Street. The restaurant is the latest outpost of a Tuscan concept that already thrives in Florence, Vienna, Zurich, and Monaco. Here, the focus is on relaxed all-day Italian dining, with dishes that honour both traditional and contemporary Tuscan recipes.
The Antinori family has been committed to the art of winemaking since 1385, now led by the 26th generation – sisters Albiera, Allegra, and Alessia Antinori. Their wines, including the prestigious Tignanello and Cervaro della Sala, are naturally central to the experience. Guests can enjoy exclusive vintages alongside a menu that features Pappardelle al Ragù, Vitello tonnato, and Bistecca alla Fiorentina, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil from the family's Pèppoli estate in Chianti Classico.
The setting is a characterful period building decorated with curiosities from the Antinori family collection. White tablecloths set the mood for an intimate evening, while live jazz on Fridays adds a lively note. This combination of refined Tuscan hospitality and quality cooking earned the restaurant a Michelin Recommended award in 2026, a nod to its consistent execution.
The restaurant serves lunch and dinner daily, with a set lunch menu available Monday to Friday. A private dining room accommodates everything from business events to wedding receptions. For those who prefer a lighter start, the aperitivo hour offers sharing plates and Antinori wines.
As Allegra Antinori puts it, “Still inspired by the same passion, we are excited to begin our new story in London and welcome the community with our heartfelt Tuscan hospitality.”
