The story
Wildflowers sits in Newson's Yard, just behind Pimlico Road in London. It is a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and wine bar that focuses on seasonal, high-quality ingredients, all cooked over coals. The cooking is direct and ingredient-led, letting the produce speak. The ground-floor restaurant and adjacent terrace within the Yards atrium offer a welcoming, accessible setting, while the first floor houses Bar Flor and a private dining room for up to twelve guests.
Upstairs, Bar Flor provides a handpicked selection of wines and spritzes, paired with small plates and Pintxos. It opens from 5pm Wednesday to Saturday, offering a relaxed spot for a drink before or after dinner. The wine bar's intimate atmosphere complements the restaurant's coal-fired cooking.
The restaurant is designed for comfort, with level access, wide doorways, and two accessible restrooms on the ground floor. The terrace dining area is also fully accessible. For those who prefer table service, staff are happy to take orders at the table. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at lunchtimes. The space also accommodates private parties and events.
Wildflowers has been recognised by the Michelin Guide as a Recommended restaurant for 2026, a nod to its consistent quality and thoughtful Mediterranean cooking. The combination of a coal-fired kitchen, seasonal ingredients, and a carefully curated wine bar makes it a distinctive destination in Pimlico.
