The story
Paris House is a tasting-menu restaurant set within the sprawling deer park of the Woburn Estate in Bedfordshire, near Milton Keynes. The kitchen, led by chef Phil Fanning, focuses on innovative modern British cuisine that draws on seasonal ingredients and subtle Asian influences.
The restaurant offers a choice of tasting experiences: a 6-course Signature Tasting Menu and a shorter 4-course Menu, both built around the best of each season. An Afternoon Tea is also served. The team’s commitment to originality extends beyond the plate – Fanning has created Paris House Gin, a London Dry infused with shiso leaves, yuzu and sancho, giving it a distinctive Asian twist.
Michelin recognised Paris House with a Recommended award in 2026, noting the quality and creativity of the cooking. The setting itself is a draw: the historic timber-framed building sits in open parkland, with outdoor seating available when weather permits. Guests often remark on the attentive, knowledgeable service and the sense of occasion from arrival to departure.
The menu changes regularly, so each visit offers something new. With its combination of precise technique, bold flavour pairings and a tranquil estate location, Paris House delivers a dining experience that feels both refined and welcoming.
