No table reservations are required – the team operates on a first-come, first-served basis, encouraging a relaxed, spontaneous visit.

This approach to quality, unpretentious dining has caught the eye of Michelin, which has given The Star Inn its "Recommended" distinction for 2026. The award recognises the pub’s consistent, skilled cooking and welcoming atmosphere.

The Star Inn is located in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, surrounded by countryside walking routes and just a ten-minute walk from Blenheim Palace. The pub also has a large beer garden for warmer days.
